Tuesday Jan 24, 2023
Tuesday Jan 24, 2023
Drop your worries of the day and fall into a deep and luxurious sleep as you take a relaxing and magical journey into the night sky above.
If worry or overthinking keeps you from falling asleep at night then take a journey with me to the space between the stars where together we will surrender, relax, find inner calm and reconnect back with the peaceful natural state of being.
The space between the stars is a magical yet sacred destination where it is safe to leave your worries behind; an endless vastness of sacred space - space to rest, heal and restore. A soft-landing pad for you to just breathe, float and be.
This guided sleep meditation will help you fall asleep effortlessly, in silence, in full and sweet surrender.
The most beautiful thing about falling into the space between the stars is that no matter what is going on for you – you will always be able to see the guiding light of the stars around you. And for as long as you can see the stars you can never truly be lost.

Ground + Reset With Gratitude Guided Meditation
Friday Jul 29, 2022
Friday Jul 29, 2022
We are going to spend the next 25 minutes breathing and connecting with gratitude to help you ground, reset and reframe your mindset to a more positive state of being.
Invite yourself to surrender and relax. There is nothing you need to do – nowhere you need to be right now – you have dedicated these next 25 minutes to your own well-being. All you need to do is follow the sound of my voice and the words I speak
When we welcome the practice of gratitude into our own life it turns everything we have into enough. But we must also be easy on ourselves when we fail to see the beauty – as there will be days that are hard.
The practice of gratitude literally shifts our perspective on the world and how we view ourselves. We learn to see ourselves and the world with new eyes and grow a new appreciation for what truly matters in this life.
We learn to drop all that no longer serves us, allowing us to free up space within our own mind for inner peace, calm and contentment to grow.
When uncertainty arises or life falls apart, as it sometimes does. Having a grateful heart will make it much easier to navigate the tough times.
Gratitude doesn’t happen overnight. It must be practiced daily, and as our practice grows over time so does our base level of overall contentment, inner calm, and self-resilience. Gratitude transforms our lives as we start to turn failures into learning opportunities, our pain into compassion and our hardships into wisdom.
A daily practice of gratitude helps us discover and unearth what truly matters to us, it removes the distractions so that we can see the ordinary as extra-ordinary.

A Guided Forest Bathe Meditation: Shinrin-Yoku
Thursday Jun 30, 2022
Thursday Jun 30, 2022
Grab your earbuds and join me for a guided forest bathe meditation. To begin, first find yourself a comfortable and safe space somewhere near nature - it could be deep in the heart of the wilderness, in the botanical gardens, on a bench seat in the city park or in your backyard. Choose somewhere that has greenery and nature. Then hit play to relax, restore and reconnect to what matters most.
The Japanese art of Forest Bathing is a restorative and healing mindfulness practice that is an eco-antidote to the hustling tech-boom burnout and a way to reconnect back to Mother Nature and our own true nature.

Extending Compassion Guided Meditation [Live Tonglen Meditation]
Sunday May 01, 2022
Sunday May 01, 2022
Today we are going to do a live Extending Compassion Meditation —it is a meditation that is inspired by Tonglen, a Buddhist practise of “giving and taking or sending and receiving.” More specifically, this practice involves consciously breathing in the pain and suffering of yourself and others and on the exhale, sending space, compassion and healing to yourself and others.
This compassion meditation has the power to open our hearts and deepen our love and compassion for ourselves and the world around us. By embracing, rather than rejecting, the unwanted and painful aspects of human experience, we can overcome fear, and learn how to balance both pain and suffering while cultivating greater empathy for others.
This extending compassion practice may feel scary, after all the thought of taking on extra pain and suffering can be worrying for most.
That said, people have been practising compassion meditation or tonglen for more than a thousand years and there is growing evidence to show that it can lessen anxiety, create peace of mind, and foster an increased sense of connection to others.
The one problem you might face is that you feel too much emotion when facing other people’s suffering. If this happens, meditate on less serious issues and situations of pain.
Today’s practice can help reduce the stress of larger problems in the world like Covid-19, war and systemic racism. It is also a remedy that can snap us out of our own self-entitlement and self-centredness and remind us of our shared suffering, our shared humanity, and our shared capacity to change and overcome problems.
Find a comfortable position either laying down or sitting up. Get yourself comfortable with eye pillows, blankets, cushions, and bolsters. Set up your space with intention. You may like to light a candle or burn incense. Maybe hold in your hand your favourite crystal.
I will give you a few moments to set up your space and settle in.

Guided Meditation For Stress: Connecting With The Space Between The Breath
Sunday Apr 03, 2022
Sunday Apr 03, 2022
Today we'll be practising a meditation called the breathing space – where we linger within the sacred and nurturing space between the breath to connect with stillness and release stress. it's a simple practise you can use anytime you feel overwhelmed or stressed and feel the need for a reset
The breath is our sanctuary – it anchors us and calms us. And the space in-between the breath is a beautiful space and sanctuary to rest and reside – especially when things get tough.
I personally love the breath meditations because we are not asking the mind to quieten – instead, we just focus on the breath. We are giving the mind a distraction or something to focus on.
In these breathing meditations, there is a moment where the mind becomes anchored within the breath yet at the same time there's an opportunity to really experience a deep sense of calm and stillness.
For today’s meditation, you're going to need something comfortable to sit on or lay down on. I have a meditation cushion and a blanket but if you just have a cushion or a chair that is ok. Or alternatively lay on your bed or yoga mat.
Start by coming into a comfortable seated or laying down position with a tall straight spine.
I will give you a moment to settle in. From my heart to yours! I hope you enjoy today’s practice.

Today's guest on Soulful Conversations is Karla Perez. Karla is the founder and integrative health coach at www.sweatygirl.com.
In 2018, Karla was diagnosed with breast cancer and even though she already lived what she would call a healthy life the diagnosis invited her to go deeper into her own wellness journey. And during this journey, Karla began to thrive. And sweatygirl.com is Karla's platform and sacred offering where she shares the Sweaty Girl method that transformed her life.
The Sweaty girl method is a four-pillar approach to complete well being and wholeness which incorporates the mind, body and spirit. Karla and I talked about her four pillars which are nutrition, yoga, breath movement and wellbeing. We also talked about resilience, self-care and the importance of removing negativity. We also went into her upcoming retreat.
The more that you feed and strengthen your body, mind and spirit with positive fuel and nourishment is how you become more resilient. Karla says:
How will you strengthen your body? You will eat nutritious foods, whole foods, good food to make your body absorb nutrients and build strength so that you become resilient to disease, infection and germs. You move your body. You breathe slowly and deeply to oxygenate your body.
How will you strengthen your mind? Feeding yourself positive thoughts, positive affirmations and looking at yourself in the mirror and saying to yourself that you can do those things and you will succeed.
How will you strengthen your spirit? You have to be able to let go of negativity. Release resentment. Release anything that doesn't serve you and in return accept love. Accept forgiveness.
I really enjoyed this conversation and I hope that you do or so thank you for tuning in.

Soulful Conversations: Call Me By My Name - A Transgender Conversation
Friday Mar 18, 2022
Friday Mar 18, 2022
Today I talk to Jen. Jen is highly educated and lived a well-respected and successful career as a police sergeant for the greater part of her life. Jen also was married for many years and has adult children.
Jen also lived her life as a male called Jeff for her first 60 years or so.
Jeff went to college, got married, had kids, built a career, but something never felt quite normal. The truth is you can’t know what you just don’t know. But then google appeared and answers to many unanswered questions were able to be explored. This is when Jeff knew he was really Jen.
But it wasn’t that easy. He had a mortgage, kids to look after, a dog to feed and a wife he loved deeply. He had commitments – and coming out as Jen just was not possible for him at that time.
When his children had all grown up, sadly he lost his wife, and it was then that the call toward authenticity could no longer be denied and he knew that eventually, decisions would have to be made.
The call towards authenticity is sacred, it's holy, It's for the greater good.
Whilst transgender and the entire LGBT movement has moved positively forward in leaps and bounds. It still has a long way to go. The conservative way in which mainstream culture labels and defines everything in order to make things feel understood and comfortable is where much of the problems stem from.
In a world where many things are still rejected because we simply don’t understand them, we must rise strong and be willing to try and do what we can in order to honour the journey of another.
Jen was extremely positive, humorous, and light-hearted and said for the most part most people were amazing and accepting.
Jen shares her journey to becoming a transgender woman, and whilst she can’t speak for other transgender women, I found a lot of strength, humour, warmth, acceptance and quite frankly inspiration from Jen’s journey.
I learned so much from Jen and it opened my mind even further. After all, what do any of us really know about the shoes in which we have never walked? Holding respect and having a curiosity for another’s journey, which is different to our own, will expand our own minds, open our hearts, and grow our empathy.
I really enjoyed chatting with Jen. I hope you enjoy listening to this episode.

A Full Moon Meditation For Self-Reflection + Letting Go
Saturday Mar 12, 2022
Saturday Mar 12, 2022
The Full Moon is a time to get honest about what is not working in your life so that you can bring closure to all that no longer serves you. It is that space just before you exhale, a time of letting go and releasing, where you can shed anything getting in the way of your best self.
It is the time to let go and release all that is holding you back so that you can create the space to step into the new chapter of your life. It is a time to look deep within and get honest about who you are, what you want and what's holding you back. What is stopping you from stepping into the most fantastic authentic version of yourself? What is blocking you from listening to your intuition, internal wisdom and higher self? What needs to change, what needs to go, and where does the inner work need to be directed.

Soulful Conversations: How To Tune In + Trust Our Own Intuition
Friday Mar 11, 2022
Friday Mar 11, 2022
Today, we live in a world that's more connected than ever. We have big data, big tech, and big opportunities that bring us together. We have at our fingertips all the information that we could ever need.
Yet, despite all this connection, many of us are more disconnected from ourselves and the world that we live in than we ever have been before. So how do we get back on track and how do we reconnect and focus on what truly matters?
Much of the answer lies in connecting with the invisible gift that we all have, but that many of us are not consciously using. This gift is known as our intuition.
Even science is starting to prove that intuition is a real thing. We all have that internal knowing within us - in today's episode we talk about how to tune into it, how to hear it and how to trust PLUS what signs and signals to look for.

Guided Meditation For Anxiety
Wednesday Mar 09, 2022
Wednesday Mar 09, 2022
Anxiety happens to the best of us, and it can easily take control of us fast. When we get anxious, we often get faster – whether it is in our breathing, actions or thinking. We tend to get reactive and feel a little tight within – almost like we are suffocating - and if we let anxiety really sink in and take hold that is when we may even have an anxiety-induced panic attack.
A great remedy for anxiety is to slow everything down. Slow the breathing, slow the thinking, slow the doing. Slow right down and make space for yourself. That is what today’s meditation is designed to do.
Find yourself a comfortable safe space. You may like to sit up, lay down - find a position that feels good for you. Experiment with pillows and yoga bolsters – you may want to put a pillow under your knees or sit a bolster on top of your hips or thighs.
Once you have found your comfortable position make sure your spine is straight – with your head over your heart and your heart over your hips. Rest palms facing upward if it is comfortable.

This guided meditation is an invitation for you to carve out some well-deserved space for yourself, connecting with your breath and experiencing your whole being exactly as you are – no more, no less – and then allowing yourself to just sit and be in the ocean of stillness and self-compassion.

Renew The Self [mind-body-spirit] Guided Meditation
Friday Feb 11, 2022
Friday Feb 11, 2022
What does it mean to take time out to renew ourselves? Many of us don't prioritise our own self-care; therefore, we never really take time to unplug, reconnect and renew. Life's pressure and busy pace make it easy to get stuck in old habits and repetitive routines. These cycles make it hard to break emotional triggers, and the egos need to rehash past mistakes, regrets and hurts.
When faced with uncertainty, fears and challenges, we often cling to our old habits and ways of doing things. However, when we nurture our mind, body and spirit, we also renew ourselves – which in time dissolves inner turmoil and negative patterns – creating space for peace, love, light, new ideas and ways of being to flow into us.
When we are open to our own self-healing, we develop a more positive way of experiencing our being and our life, which gives us the ability to deal with challenges in a more self-loving and kind manner. Taking time out to renew our whole being connects us to self-awareness. And Self-awareness brings positive transformation. And transformation brings healing.
Prioritising self-care and self-renewal will make us feel more joyful, loving, energetic and light. It will bring us back to the way nature always intended for us to feel. Guided Meditation For Self-Care
Friday Feb 04, 2022
Friday Feb 04, 2022
Join Claire for a meditation journey into setting intentions for your own self-care practice.
In order to feel balanced, energised and joyful, we need to love, nurture and nourish our own mind, body and soul. We need to prioritise self-care and ourselves. Even if it is just ten minutes a day.
Focusing on our own well being, it makes us feel whole. And when we feel whole, we live with a joyful, energetic body, a loving and compassionate heart, a clear and inspired mind, a curious and ever-expanding spirit, and a lightness of whole being.

The Secret Language Of Flowers: A Mindfulness Activity
Tuesday Nov 02, 2021
Tuesday Nov 02, 2021
This episode is part of day two of the 14-day nature challenge, we are going to stop and smell the flowers. There are two exercises, one is the gratitude for flowers exercise where both adults and kids can make a gratitude flower and even build a gratitude flower garden wall. Plus we will be doing an appreciation mindfulness exercise with flowers.
Activity One: Gratitude For Flowers
A mindfulness activity that is great for kids and adults to harbour positivity, appreciation for the small things and connection to the natural world.
What you need: The gratitude for the flower template, colouring-in pencils, glue, scissors and a grateful open heart.
1. Start by cutting out the circle for the centre of the flower and write your name on it. You can also write the name of someone to whom you want to send love and kindness.
2. Next cut out the big petals for the flower. Be creative and experiment with colours. Feel free to create your own petal template.
3. Write down or draw pictures of the things you are grateful for on the petals. If you are making one for someone else then write or draw what you want intentions you want to send them.
4. Glue the petals to the flower centre and you have your first gratitude flower!
If you do this with a group of others, you can do a whole garden of flowers! You can even create a happy place by hanging the flowers on a wall for an awesome “indoor garden” to which you can return to get a gratitude boost.
Activity Two: The Secret Language Of Flowers
This exercise is simple but incredibly powerful because it helps you notice and appreciate seemingly simple elements of your environment more profoundly.
The exercise is designed to connect you with the beauty of the natural environment, something that is easily missed when we are rushing about our daily lives trying to complete that never-ending to-do list or hopping on and off trains on the way to work.
Nature gives us all that we need to experience joy, peace, stillness in the present moment. The big question is, do we allow nature to do its job? Are we too busy to stop and notice the powerful effect nature can have on our entire well-being? Or are we too distracted and overwhelmed to let nature in?
Read the full day two challenge about the Secret Language Of Flowers which includes a flower observation journal sheet and the flower mindful observation exercise.

A Destress Meditation: Pause. Breathe. Check-In With Yourself
Monday Nov 01, 2021
Monday Nov 01, 2021
We live in a busy culture, where success is often measured by how busy we are, how much we hustle, how many things we can multi-task, how much we work and so forth. Then, add to all this busyness the pings and dings of email, mobile phone and social media. It is no wonder for many of us we are stressed, overwhelmed, tired and distracted.
Time has become a resource that many of us don’t have enough of. As we race around our day trying to catch up or keep on top of everything, we tend to breathe fast or irregular, get stressed and get overwhelmed. It is only natural that this leads to some form of stress, anxiety, and difficulties focusing.
How we feel daily comes in ebbs and flows, and that is entirely normal. But all too often, when we are not feeling great or are not on our A-game, we panic, beat ourselves up, and ultimately drive up our stress levels, which only make things worse. But instead of panicking, we need to be more accepting. Acknowledge that we are not on our A-game today. Then pause, breathe and become present. We need to be ok with not being our best on the day.
Accepting how you feel will reduce its emotional impact on you, resulting in less stress, overwhelm, fatigue, and anxiety. Make it a daily ritual to check in with yourself, process the emotions, breathe through them and then just let them go.
Giving yourself 5-10 minutes a day to relax will help you accept when things aren’t perfect, and it will give you a different metric for success (one that supports joy rather than perfection).
Join me now for a meditation where we release worries, get a fresh perspective and feel calmer and more joyful.

Nature Challenge: 10 Minute Mindfulness Activity To Connect With Nature
Monday Nov 01, 2021
Monday Nov 01, 2021
It's been said that noticing and giving attention to things outside yourself is one of the greatest and purest forms of generosity. Tuning in and becoming one with nature is an example of this.
Nature, like us, is alive. When we spend time in nature, all its goodness permeates our mind, body, soul. It positively affects our mood, our health and our own perception of the world around us.
The sights, sounds, smells, textures and tastes in the air bring our senses alive, and nature invites us to slow down and become present.
When you follow paths through nature - do you ever feel like it is healing you?
Nature helps to reduce stress, calm anxiety and slow our breath, heart and pace of life down. It boosts our immunity, and anywhere from an hour a day out in nature helps us get a better night of sleep, rest and rejuvenation.
For the first challenge go outside and spend five minutes fully present and immersed in nature. Engage all your senses, and go from "doing" to "being". Feel, live and breathe the experience in the present moment rather than getting caught up in your thoughts.
Give yourself the opportunity to really settle in and feel a genuine connection with nature. Observe all the different layers of nature from the smallest insects buzzing in the flowers, to the clouds floating in the sky.
Notice how you feel while taking time out to connect with nature. Notice what you hear? Write down any experiences that came up for you in nature.

Gratitude For The Breath Meditation
Sunday May 09, 2021
Sunday May 09, 2021
There is great healing and power to be found in breathing, gratitude and sitting in stillness.
As we rush about our busy lives, we forget to stop and appreciate the gift of the breath and the gift of life itself.
This guided meditation will bring you into a place of stillness, enabling you to have a deep respect and appreciation for this moment, for your breathe and for your life.
"Breathe. Let go. And remind yourself that this very moment is the only one you know you have for sure." ~Oprah Winfrey
We have all been breathing our entire live's, but it’s only when we stop and take the time to truly breathe: slowly, mindfully and gratefully that we find great inner peace in the power of "just being".
Sitting in a space of having a deep appreciation for "just being" is truly a transformative experience.
Even better, gratitude has been scientifically proven to strengthen your immune system, make you happier and bring about a deep sense of inner peace.

Everyday Miracles: Connecting With The Creative Muse Within [Week Nine]
Thursday Apr 15, 2021
Thursday Apr 15, 2021
We all hold the power of creativity. We all have the creative muse live within us. The creative muse is our source of inspiration and creativity. The hard part is quietening down the noise of the outside world so that we can connect and honour our own creative muse within.
Connecting with your own creative muse will inspire you to step out of fear and live creatively, which does not have to mean pursuing a life that is professionally devoted to the arts or creative endeavours but living a life that is driven more strongly by curiosity, joy and inspiration rather than by fear. If you want to write poetry or play music or paint, the creative muse will help you do that. But if you want to garden, take hip-hop lessons, play golf, build a tiny home or raise horses, the creative muse will be there for you also.
We all have those things in our life that bring us great joy, comfort and enthusiasm, things like our favourite places, activities, rituals, people or things.
Tapping into the things that bring us joy is the portal to connecting with our own inner creative muse. The things that bring joy to our heart have the potential to heal, inspire, motivate, uplift, connect and reveal. In our fast-paced world, these very things that bring us joy also become our sanctum or place of solace when we need some restoration, rejuvenation and a little inspiration.

Everyday Miracles: Chasing Slow, Intentional + Simple[Week Eight]
Monday Apr 12, 2021
Monday Apr 12, 2021
When you slow down you see and appreciate the beauty that you never saw before. When you live with intention you actively choose what is important to you and drop the rest. When you simplify you create space for meaning and purpose to unfold.
By slowing down and choosing to live more intentionally and simply you dispose of negative energy, and instead draw in positive energy. Not only will this shift make you feel light within, you become more able to live your life with ease. Also, by de-cluttering your entire life you also enhance your manifestation power by creating the space within to attract abundance.
Clearing out the clutter in your mind as well as physically decluttering your home, inbox and anything else that may be taking up space in your energetic field will bring you more mind-body wellness and is also a great way to clear the path for miracles to materialise.
Thank you for joining me for week 8 of the Everyday Miracles Course. Today we will be dipping into slow, intentional and simple living. There is also a breath awareness meditation that goes along with today’s lesson.

Guided Meditation To Connect With Your Own Creative Muse
Monday Apr 12, 2021
Monday Apr 12, 2021
Today we are going to take a journey together to reconnect with our own creative muse within. In all our busyness and getting lost in all our doing it is easy to disconnect from our own inspiration and creativity. Maybe you have the ideas within, but you cannot find the inspiration or motivation to act. Or maybe your mind and life is so cluttered and busy that you cannot process your inspiration and creativity therefore making it hard to bring it into your own reality. Or maybe you are tired, weary and worn down and have no creativity or inspiration left within.
It’s okay…and completely natural and normal to feel like this.
Often uncertainty can overwhelm you… and mindless busyness, anxiety and stress can drown out the voice of your own inner creativity.
When dealing with creativity it is easy to have moments like this… moments where you feel blocked… stuck… not able to tap into your own creativity and let it flow into your work… into your life…
Harnessing creativity requires a mindful choice to slow down, de-stress and quieten within. Today we are going find that quiet space within so that you can hear the voice of your own creative muse.

B R E A T H Awareness Meditation
Saturday Apr 03, 2021
Saturday Apr 03, 2021
We live in a society that is predominately oxygen starved. Our busy schedules, never-ending pressures and overall fast pace of life causes many of us not to breathe properly. A big percent of the population in the world breathe too shallow and fast. This means that we are not taking in sufficient levels of oxygen, the result of an oxygen starved body is toxic build up which makes it hard to naturally relax and overtime it can lead to disease and long-term stress, anxiety and fatigue.
Slow mindful breathing can transform your life. In our busy, frenzied and stressful world taking time out creates space within, a place where you feel at peace and are reminded of how important it is to slow down and not race through this life. A daily ritual of mindful breathing also has the power to heal your body and mind on both an emotional and physical level .

Everyday Miracles: Become Self-Actualised And Empower Yourself [Week Seven]
Sunday Mar 28, 2021
Sunday Mar 28, 2021
What if we don't need to be any more than we are? What if we are enough?
The invitation of today's lesson is to encourage you to love, honour and respect yourself. Just as you are.
Owning our journey, our lessons and our truth - it frees us. It frees us from the suggestion that we are not enough and that we should contribute more or become something greater.
The only person who gets to define our success is ourselves. And the only person by whose measure we are worthy, is our own.
So, don't wait to be saved by a person, an opinion or a credential. Because you'll be waiting for eternity. It's time to look within to save yourself.
Today's lesson in the Everyday Miracles Course is about honouring the true self and becoming more self-actualised. The definition of self-actualisation is “The realisation or fulfilment of one's talents and potential, something that is present in everyone”.
